These terms govern repair work carried out by Haque Bodywork, trading from 172 Lukin Street, London E1 0BN. By booking a repair with us, you accept the terms set out below.

Quotes

Quotes are free and valid for thirty days from the date given. The price quoted is for the work described on that quote. If extra damage is discovered once the vehicle is stripped for inspection, we will contact you with a revised quote and carry out no additional work until you have approved it in writing or by telephone.

Insurance work

Where the repair is paid for by an insurer, the policy excess (and any uninsured losses) remain your responsibility. We deal directly with the claim handler once we have your written authority to do so. Any VAT element that the insurer does not pay is your responsibility.

Deposits and payment

We may ask for a deposit before ordering specialist parts or paint. The balance is payable on collection of the vehicle by bank transfer, debit or credit card. Vehicles remain our property to retain until payment has cleared.

Workmanship guarantee

We guarantee our workmanship and paintwork. If any repair we have carried out proves defective, return the vehicle to us and we will put it right. The guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, stone chips, further accidents, damage caused by third parties, or work carried out by another repairer on top of ours.

Collection and liability

Vehicles must be collected within fourteen days of notification that the repair is complete. After this time a reasonable storage charge may apply. While your vehicle is in our care we insure it against fire, theft and accidental damage on the premises. Personal belongings left in the vehicle are your own responsibility.

Cancellation

You may cancel a booking at any point before work has started at no charge. Once parts or paint have been ordered, any non-returnable items will be charged at cost.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
